I put up the halloween decorations today! I'm so excited for it to get here even though its still a little over a month away. We haven't done pumpkins yet though so those are still to come:) I didn't really decorate inside the apartment because I know Kyler would just get into it so we will just have to do with the outside! Here's the pic:)

Halloween/Christmas Shopping:)
I'm so excited about Halloween and Christmas right now it's not even funny lol Not ready for the warm weather to go away yet but would love the holidays to be here. Today I was able to order our Halloween costumes:) and get some decorations to put up. Honestly Dollar Tree is awesome...you can get alot of the samethings to decorate with there as you can Walmart and it's alot cheaper! Kyler's little Trick-or-Treating bag is adorable and just the right size since we probably won't do much since he's still pretty young. He's going to look so cute in his costume too!!! J.J. and I decided to dress up this year...we both haven't in years and we're looking so forward to doing it this year. Honestly October can't get here fast enough lol.
Now for the Christmas shopping part:) We are pretty much done!!! We just have to get a few things for our friends and families. EBAY is amazing! I can't believe the deals I have gotten. I can't wait to see Kyler's face that morning...last year was so fun and I'm thinking this year he's probably going to be alot more into it. He has so many toys already(we went overboard last christmas and for his birthday) that we decided he didn't need much, even though he's still going to have a good amount. I just can't wait!! That and I know I finally will be able to suprise J.J. with somthing...he's such a snoop, but one of his presents came in the mail all wrapped in packaging tape...I laughed when I saw it but am happy because now he won't be able to get into it. I can't talk though because I know one of the things he got me, which I'm ecstatic about:) Sorry this post is kinda random but I'm just way excited!!

Remembering 9/11
I remember I was in my room doing my hair getting ready to go to school and listening to the radio, when the dj guy came on and said the first tower had been hit. I originally thought it was a joke, and went on getting ready to go. On the way to school I told my mom what I had heard and she thought the samething, we were stopped at the railroad tracks when on the radio they said it again at that point we both thought ok maybe something did happen.
My mom was in the PTA at the time and had a meeting that morning and I went into their meeting room with her before school started and saw the devastation of what had happened. I couldn't believe my eyes! We watched the second tower get hit...and then it was off to advisory for me. All the teachers had the news on watching it. The principle came on and said that we needed to go on with our regular classes and that all the teachers needed to turn the news off...very few actually did. I remember watching people jumping out of the windows and others running away as fast as they could from the towers, while yet the fireman and police officers where going in towards the towers. I remember when the First Tower fell and I gasped, as did a few others in our class. I tried so hard to not cry, I just couldn't understand it all. Up until that point I don't think I thought anyone had a problem with America. I think that day at school was the quietest day of school I have ever been to...no one really talked, we all had our eyes glued to the t.v. and were in shock. They then reported about the plain crash in Pennsylvania and about the Pentagon being hit. I was just hoping and praying there wouldn't be anymore!
So many innocent people lost their lives and family members that day. There where so many HEROS that day, the fireman and police officers, people in the Towers or near them trying to save others, and the people on the plains trying to stop what was about to happen. I will never forget all the stories of those brave men and women!
It didn't end with 9/11 though, the country has been at war ever since. We have made great progress with it and a few months ago they were able to get the man responsible for it all! But there have been Thousands of men and women give there lives for our freedom! And alot who have left there lives and families to go fight for it. I know a few of those who have. I am so very very grateful to all of those Brave and Heroic people who have served our country!!! And for the ones through out the last 10 years who have given their lives starting on this day 10 years ago. I can honestly say I love you all and am forever indebted to you for all you have done!
I will Never forget that day! As I'm sure most who where here that day won't.
NEVER FORGOTTEN....FOREVER GRATEFUL!

Labor Day Weekend
So our weekend was boring..jj had to work all of it including monday. So we didn't end up doing much. I took Kyler to the park to play for a little while Saturday...he has decided he has to get out of the house at least once a day or he is just a grouch. He loves playing at the park though and even got brave enough to go down the big slide by himself I wish I would have remembered my camera to get better pictures, his face was priceless going down the slide. He liked going down the smaller ones too...he would just go down those on his stomach and then try to climb back up them.
It makes me sad summer is starting to end! I was thankful I had went and bought him some fall clothes last week where it was cooler yesterday..it made me sad when I put his sweatshirt on. I don't like being outside when its cold...and its seems like we have been outside all the time this summer just playing and I've loved it and so has Kyler. Hopefully it'll just stay warm-ish for while longer!
There are also just some random pictures of Kyler I posted that I found going through my phone I thought were cute.

Messy Boy
Kyler has decided he doesn't need help doing anything anymore. He's been that way with feeding himself for awhile but the day I took these pictures he got super messy and it was just so funny and cute. He usually does pretty well not getting his food everywhere...but when it comes to spaghetti or mac's and cheese he gets it all over!!
He also won't let me brush his teeth anymore at least until he feels like he's done it enough and then he'll hand me the brush and let me make sure to get them really well.
He doesn't like getting his diaper changed and as soon as I would grab for a diaper he'd take off running. We decided to try the new slip on ones from Huggies and they have been great! He's even just came right over to me a few times to change him..or point to the diapers when he's ready. If he keeps growing like he is he's gonna have to be potty trained soon he's already in size 5's!
He is sure starting to get an attitude, but still has his cute moments too. He has been a cuddle bug lately which has been so nice. He has always been a snuggly baby which I have loved and hope the rest of my kids are! He doesn't fight going to sleep in his big boy bed nearly as much as he use to, and if he's really tired or ready for bed will climb up the stairs and get in bed and just go to sleep himself:)
He's getting to be such a big boy! Kinda makes me sad but its fun watching him learn and do new things. He can count to 1,2,&5 on his fingers he hasn't figured out how to do 3 & 4 yet. He has also been trying to do my TurboFire exercises with me...he hadn't figured out the punching yet, which I'm greatful for, but he'll wave his arms above his head and squat up and down for the jumping jacks and mostly just dance the rest of the time, it's so cute! I want to get it recorded but when I try to he stops...stubborn little boy.
Well what turned into sharing a few pictures turned into an update on Kyler I could go on and on but I'll stop now!
Its Football Season!
As many of you know I'm a huge football fan...so of course this time of year we are off to watch games or watching it on t.v. My brother Rhett(#28) plays for the high school so we have been going to see him. He mostly plays J.V. but has gotten to play a few minutes of varsity time. I was disappointed this week because I wasn't able to make it to the J.V. game and he scored the first Touchdown!! So proud:):) But I thought I'd share some of the pictures we have taken the past couple of weeks.
Kyler loves going to the games...mostly because he's outside. We are big UofU fans in my family and I went to Target before the Varsity game yesterday and they had jerseys so I bought him one...I was alittle nervous because they only had them in 3t or bigger, but the 3t actually fit him pretty good. I can't believe my ''little'' boy is already fitting into 2t & 3t clothes he's getting so big! He also got some light up shoes that he will not take off...he absolutely loves them, and thinks he is so cool when he walks around in them its so funny.
