So I thought I would post some post Christmas pictures of Kyler playing with his toys. He loves them all, and its so fun watching him play with them. The train thats in the bottom pictures, was one I had wanted to get him because it went with his blocks. But I just didn't like the price. A couple days after Christmas we went to walmart to get a few things and it was half off so we decided to grab it. Its one of his favorite things to play with, so I'm glad we did. His lion ride on toy also turns into a walker and we'll stand him up behind it and he'll start walking he doesn't have very good balance yet so after about two steps he'll start to fall. Some of the pictures are dark because the one thing I don't like about our apartment is it doesn't have very good lighting, and some of the bottom ones I tried to brighten and they look a little off to me. I'm alittle OCD about pictures, if you can't tell. I love my camera though, just trying to figure it out still:) Anyways We hope everyone has a great New Years!!

CHRISTMAS!!

So this is our post from our Christmas day!! We had such a great day. We started the festivities on Christmas Eve by going to JJ's parents house for dinner. We then came home and read the story about Jesus' Birth. We then let Kyler open a present. He opened some darling penguin pajamas. We then put him to bed and got ready to go to bed ourselves. We then woke up around 6:00a.m. and started the day. Santa had came to our surprise;) He left Kyler a Fisher-Price Kitchen, Basketball set, and Blocks, along with his stocking. JJ and I had made the decision that we were only going to get stockings from Santa this year and yet I was surprised with a new camera! I've been wanting one for a few months now because our other just doesn't take very good pictures. and JJ kept telling me ours was fine we didn't need a new one, little did I know what he was upto. I was super happy with it. Its honestly the cutest camera I've seen. After going through the stockings we moved on to the presents under the tree. Kyler first opened two gifts from his Great-Grandparents. GG Jones gave him a cute little bear that sings "Jesus loves me yes I know, for the bible tells me so." It is so cute and he just loves it. Then from GGma and GGpa Abplanalp he got some pajamas, and a stuffed animal. The cool thing about the stuffed animal is my grandma made them from things from my Great Grandmothers that have past away in the past few years. So its a nice keepsake to have. He then moved on to what we gave him. He wasn't to thrilled about opening the clothes. It was another story with the toys. He loved opening them. He got a Fisher-Price speedway, stride to ride lion, mailbox, stacker, phone, and a few shirts and a pair of pants. He also got a new carseat yay!! Santa just forgot to put it out. I'm happy to say he has actually played with all of them today!! As for me and JJ, we got our washer and dryer and Tv stand as I have mentioned before and we also got a new dvd player. Separately, JJ got a couple outfits, seasons of How I Met Your Mother, Grown Ups, and a book he wanted. I got a new diaper bag, new straightener, and a couple of shirts. So we all got pretty spoiled!!
After getting ready we went over to The Abplanalp's. We exchanged gifts over there, and came out with a new camcorder, lamp, and a few other small things. Kyler got a Baseball toy, and a Giraffe ball toy, plus a shirt, a couple stuffed animals, and some beanies. While we were there we also got to talk to my brother Colton that is on a mission in Honduras. It was so good to hear from him. He seems to be doing really well, and enjoying it. We really missed him today. But I'm glad to know he's where he is suppose to be. Around 11 we headed to The Harris' for breakfast. They cooked up some french toast and pancakes with all the fixings. JJ's aunt and uncle were there also, it was so good to see them. We then exchanged gifts over there. Kyler got a toy box, bibs, a shirt, socks, and stacking cups from grandma and grandpa. He also got another outfit, some church clothes and a toy from his aunts and uncles. He is sure a spoiled boy. We got a gift card for Olive Garden and JJ's parents gave us some money that we are going to put towards a table next month. Around 12:30 we headed back over to my parents, my mom's whole family got together for dinner. It was so Yummy!! It was sure nice to see everyone there. I love seeing how excited all my little cousins are on Christmas. I cant wait for Kyler to be that way. As you can see we had a great day and were really spoiled. We are very blessed to have everything we have. I love my husband so much and am very grateful to him for making it possible for us to have such a wonderful day. I honestly don't know what I do without him. I also love my little boy so much. He sure made today so much fun. He is just the cutest thing. We'd like to thank everyone that was apart of our day, and making it so special. We hope everyone had a wonderful day!! Below are a ton of pictures of the day and everything we got.
