Dum...Dum...Dum

Ok so maybe the title is a little exaggerated for this post but to be honest it's been one of those weeks!

I had a doctors appointment this past week but because I thought it was urgent and my normal doctor  was booked I went to see his Nurse Practitioner. Now I usually don't have problems with NP's, the whole time I was pregnant with Ky I went to the Np, and at my family doctors office I rather go to the Np. This new one at my Gynecologist office I wanted to punch! Didn't give me any answers I needed, wouldn't listen to what was going on with me, and kept telling me if I was on birth control I wouldn't be having any problems. She obviously not knowing the problems on bc that I've had, or that my actually doctor had already said bc wouldn't help me. So she gave me a hormone to take and said if it didn't help than to come back in. Well it hasn't helped!!

This isn't a bad thing, but we met with Ky's preschool this week. He has been doing better, and has been saying more. They do want him to go through the summer. It's not to bad though, it's only 3 days a week for 5 weeks and they are spread out through the summer. Then he will go constantly in the fall. He absolutely loves it! And has even cried a few times when it's time to come home. I'm just glad he likes it and that it is helping him!

Xander is cutting more teeth, so we've had lots of late nights!

Kyler has finally decided he wants to go potty, however we haven't been successful at actually getting    pee or poo in the potty! I woke up today to poo on the carpet and a puddle of pee on the kitchen floor, since he decided he didn't want his diaper on anymore. He also wants to pee standing up, which I'm fine with, the problem is he holds it in and has a fit if I try to sit him on the potty to go. Which usually leads to him peeing all over the floor. Hopefully we'll get it figured out!!

Then my husbands wonderful(sarcastic) boss decided to stay on vacation longer then he planned. Which I can't blame him, but when it ruins our plans I get a little pissed off! So now JJ gets to work all weekend and probably Memorial Day.

Which means we aren't going on our vacation this week...ugh! Which I know it's for the best giving the fact I could really have something wrong with me, and if Ky can get potty trained that would be awesome, and holiday pay is nice. I was just really looking forward to getting away for a week, and getting to be at the beach and not having to worry about reality for a little while. On the bright side I can look forward to all that in the fall.

We do have some fun things for the boys planned for this week though, this has been the 3rd time our plans have changed and getting Ky all excited to go and then not, so I wanted to make sure we did something fun to replace it. I'll blog about all that through out the week though.

We do hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial Weekend!

Day With Ava

Today we got to have Ava over to play for most the day. Her grandpa had surgery so her mom was busy taking care of him, and asked if we could watch Ava for awhile.

Kyler was completely thrilled as soon as he saw her walking upto the door.  They mostly just played with toys and watched Disney movies since the wind has been super crazy today.  I think they had lots of fun though.  They got along great,  and had to be sitting by each other all the time.

I had been crocheting and Ava decided she wanted too, that's the middle picture.

It was nice having a little girl in the house too. Makes me want one even more,  if that was possible!

I'm glad we got to have her come over today, hopefully we'll be able to have another get together soon!

Xander At 10 Months

I just don't know where the time is going! It makes me sad he's growing up so fast!

Xander turned 10 months last Friday.

I haven't had my camera out to do something cute with him so for now an Instagram pic will have to do.

I also haven't measured his height or weight so that won't be up this time either.

He has decided he wants to eat anything solid, and would eat all day if I let him.

He is so silly and is always pulling faces or doing something to make us laugh.

Dances/bounces all the time.

Still doesn't fully crawl, getting closer but he just does not like being on his tummy.

Has said these words once or twice; Dad, Bye, You

Still constantly says; Hi and Hey

His favorite things to play with are Cups, Balls, anything that Rattles

But I think that's all for now. Next months will be a lot better! Especially since that's the last one before he's a year old!!...gag

Thank You Livy!

Today I got a package in the mail, I noticed it was from my friend Livy who lives in Oklahoma, so I of course was excited to open it!

Inside was a Wish Pearl Necklace! I've seen these before, disneyland had a stand with the same type thing when we went for our honeymoon, but I didn't want to spend what they were asking, I had just kinda forgot about it till today.

It was awesome being able to actually open the clam yourself and seeing the pearl! The clam shell was so pretty to!

There were 5 different colors on the guide and they all have a different meaning. Thing is the color of my pearl is in between the peach and and what they called purple, especially depending on the light. Peach is for health and Purple is for wealth...which I could use a little(who am I kidding) a lot of both right now!

The pictures are kinda crappy since I just used my phone.

Livy Thank You So Much! This completely made my day!

Birthday/Mother's Day

My Birthday happened to land on Mother's Day this year! It was a great day getting to celebrate both!
JJ of course worked this weekend along with 3 extra days so we went out and celebrated it on Thursday. He got us tickets to go to the Desert Star Playhouse in Murray. My parents had been before and really enjoyed it, so he decided to take me down. They to comical theater, and it was hilarious. We got to see Les Miserables with Jean-Livy-Jean! In it they pretty much make fun of the movie and anything to do with Utah. It was hysterical! We ate dinner while we were there, which was really yummy. It was a real fun night out and something we both needed since it seems like its been awhile!
On Saturday JJ cooked me breakfast in bed including French Toast, eggs, and bacon. I was surprised with flowers, a necklace, and a picture Kyler colored for me (I forgot to take a picture of). JJ decided he wanted to do Mother's Day a day early. I was so tired though we  just cuddled in bed all day with the boys and watched movies, JJ went and got us Maddox take out for lunch. It was just a really nice relaxing day!
Sunday I woke upto a cake and 2 new outfits for church and some new flip-flops! JJ lit the candles and sang Happy Birthday to me, so I could make a wish :)
He also had this picture printed out for me, I told him I just wanted some new necklaces for my birthday since I got my jogging stroller, but he of course did more. Along with the new outfits he went online and found a bunch of necklaces! They are all still in the mail, which will make it seem like my birthday just last longer since I get to open things as they get here.
I also got lots of fun things from my parents and money and gift-cards from my brothers and a couple friends! So I got overly spoiled!
As for the day the boys and I went down to my aunts house to spend the day with my moms family. It was nice getting to visit with everyone! My borther Derek also got to Skype with us from Mexico, which was so nice! We got to talk to him for 3 hours, he has such a thick accent now it was so fun to listen to him talk. Kyler loved seeing him and Said, "OH NO" when we had to hang up. Xander liked talking with him to and would just jabber or say "Hi" over and over.
When we got back from my aunts we played outside for a while, I think the pool is going to have to be set up soon with how hot it is getting!
I'd just like to thank everyone that helped make my day special today, from cards, to text, or messages on facebook, I really appreciate them all!

Oh And I almost forgot.....
Do you recognize it Livy and Sean? LOL
I also got this clock and Sandal Season 1 on dvd...my new tv show obsession if you haven't noticed by the comments. This was mostly my hubby's smarta** gift, usually there's at least one each year, but I actually do love it!

No More Cast

Kyler got his cast of today!!! He still has to wear a splint for a couple of weeks when he is playing outside or being rough. So glad to finally be able to bath him with out fighting him to wrap his arm! He has loved having his arm back too, even though he was left handed before this and now is favoring his right, I guess we'll see what one he ends up using now.

I'm Back!

I'm finally back on MyFitnessPal!!

Since going on the new meds and going Gluten Free I'm back to my lowest weight this year!!

Next goal is to get to what I weighed when I had Xander which is 5 pounds away.

Then on to losing the rest of the weight!

I'm so Happy the meds she put me on are working FINALLY, energy still isn't back all the way but it is much better.

For now we are just going to take it 5 pounds at a time since I know it probably won't come off as fast as last time, kinda fustrating, but I got to do it the right way with all the issues I already have.

My new user name is SunShineGirly11, you can click it to add me!

Visions Of Glory

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what to say about this book!

It's such an amazing but yet terrify book.

The guy the book is about has experienced death and been in the spirit form and came back from it. The experiences he has had are extraordinary! And I really believe that he is telling the truth because to me and understanding how we will be in the spirit form it seems legit.

Let me explain further on that a bit. I've been taught in church about repentance and the quote I hear a lot is, "If you repent your sins are completely forgive and forgotten, but if you don't they will be revealed to all once we pass on." In the book this guy talks about an experience he had in the spirit form where his human body had coded and all the sudden he was at the side of the bed and looking at his body when all the doctors and nurses came rushing in. In that moment he knew what they were all felling and he even new one of the nurses had had an affair with the doctor, but there was no judgement on his part! He then thought of his wife and just like that was out in the waiting room with her and new she was scared that the code was him and was wishing someone would come out and talk to her, and knew everything she was feeling. He also saw other spirits there some of which were good and others that weren't. There are other things that happens during that experience that are so awesome but I'm not going to get into that. I had been skeptical upto this experience. But with the things I've been taught it just made sense. I also think it is neat that there was no judgement on his part to what others had done and also going through! I know that I to often judge others and a lot of the time don't even realize I do it. And it just reassured me of the fact that Heavenly Father and Christ are really the only ones who get to judge us in the end.

Along with that though to have the knowledge of what others have felt and are feeling, kind of scares me. For the fact that you will know exactly how you made someone fell, what they thought about you, and the emotions you caused them. And others will also know what you thought of them along with all those other things. Brings a whole new concept to the saying,"I wish I knew what they were thinking!"

Going further into the book he talks about experiences where he has seen somethings to come and about the second coming!! It terrifies me, makes me cry, and yet brings me joy the thing he talks about. It has made me realize that the Second Coming maybe a lot closer than any of us actually thought, and that the things leading upto it are probably going to be way worse than anything I could imagine. Reading some of the things he talks about brought to new light some of the things I have experienced in my life and how some of those things may have been training me for things to come. Even though I still am terrified about it!

I'm going to share something really personal here, the night before I met JJ I had an experiences that's something I always think about and I don't think I will ever forget. At the time I was living in Provo and was home for the weekend but my bed was in Provo so I was sleeping in my parents guest bedroom. I was just laying in bed thinking when I felt a dark presence in the room, and fear just came over me so much so I didn't dare open my eyes. I wanted to scream but I couldn't open my mouth and felt like I couldn't move. I knew how to cast things off but couldn't move and could barely think, I eventually was able to think of the words and was released. I don't think I realized how sacred and important those words can be until I went through the temple 7 months later. Anyways once I was able to think again my mind turned to a picture that was hanging on the wall, it was a collage frame with pictures of my mom from the time she was a baby to her wedding day. The thought entered my mind how fast her life has gone, and that mine would be no different and would probably go by even faster. Another thought entered my mind about the Second Coming and how I needed to get my life in order, because I was soon going to be married and be having kids and I needed to be prepared for what was to come and to teach my kids everything they would need to know. Little did I know I would be meeting my husband the next day! I had pictures go through my mind the one that is in most churches of the Second Coming but the one that was dearest to me was one with me surrounded by some kids and we were playing outside. I was barely able to sleep that night and I still to this day sleep with the light on because I get scared of going through the first part of that again.

Reading this book made me think about that even more and especially thoughts about the Second Coming and how I need to be preparing my family for it. I'm hoping I can do everything I need to for my kids and teach them everything they need to know. JJ and my kids are my everything and I want to be able to do everything I can to get us ready for what's ahead. I know that it will be difficult especially in the state this world is in, but I know with the Lords help we will be ok and whatever is suppose to happen will.

I am very grateful to have been introduced to this book and for the insights it has given me and for the feelings and thoughts I have had over it. I am so thankful to have been brought up and to be a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, and to know the truth of it!

Having Fun In The Backyard

Xander sitting in his new cute little chair.
Just playing together.
Ky playing with his T-ball set he got for his birthday.
They sure love each other!

Ky has some new friends. They are twins that live two doors over.  They get along great and just like Kyler love the slides and anything to do with sports.
