Ok here are some engagements!!

Models for a day

Yesterday we had our engagement pictures taken. We were kinda dreading it, but it turned out not to be so bad. We went to 2 parks and then Jen's house to take them. The one park had a lot of trees and a stream running through it. The other one had a pond, and was absolutely gorgeous! Then she had a backdrop at her house we used! I wore heels though, and between the snow, mud and climbing, that wasn't the best desicion on my part! LOL But we had fun and got some really good shots. I'm not going to post any of them yet... we want our invitation to be a surprise, so once we figure those out I'll post some.

Meeting more of the family!!

This weekend we actually got to go down to Pleasent Grove. J.J.'s cousin Lance had his farewell. He is going to mexico on his mission and goes to the MTC tomorrow. It was alot of fun seeing the relatives I already knew. But I got to meet even more of the family. I met a few more cousins, and also his Grandparents (mom's side anyways). They live in California in the Sacramento area. So we were glad to see them. We went down on Saturday and had a dinner at his aunt and uncle's house and then played at wal-mart and the hotel for awhile. I then got to go spend the night with my best friend Ashlee! I sure miss her, and living with her. But I guess you get what you get and go with it. Not that I'm complaining! I'm so happy to be where I am, and to have J.J. in my life!! Then on Sunday we went to church and Lance gave a really good talk, and after went back to his house and ate and then came back!! It was alot of fun though, even though me and J.J. disagree on were Zion is :) I think its down there, he thinks it Tremonton.

Holidays

Well we had quite the holiday season!! And he spoiled me of course!! We spent Christmas eve with my family, and watched the nativity story and played some games, and opened a present of course. JJ got a watch that night, from the brand JJ, so he thought is was cool, he also got a shirt. I had gotten ,what was suppose to be my christmas eve present earlier in the week, which was a phone. He set us up on a family plan!! He's awesome. and then I also got a pearl necklace. Christmas Day he came over at 7a.m. to open present with the fam. He got a bunch of shirts, another watch, and I don't remember what else. And then I got a bunch of stuff for our house when we get married. some excersie stuff and jewlery. But JJ is SO awesome, he got my brothers rockband!! Which they absolutely love. It made my presents look like nothing. We then went to his families house and everyone was still sleeping. So we waited till they got up. I got some dishes and towels and things for the house. I also got a batman action figure, the dark knight and the little mermaid!! Which is my favoite. And he got a bunch of sock and somemore shirts and some movies. We stayed over there till lunch time, and then went back to my families place. So when we got back to my house, the power was off, so we didn't have much of a dinner. But from wwhat we did have it was good. And the power came on soon after we had eaten! After awhile we went back of to his parents house and just relaxed. It was so cute watching is neices open their presents. We also had my dads family party the sunday after christmas. So JJ got to meet my dad's whole family, well ever one except the grandparents who are on a mission. But it was alot of fun, well most of it. I forgot to mention I about DIED! JJ had a rootbeer and I went to drink some except it was mostly foam and it exploded in my face. It went up my nose, and then I started to laugh but soon found myself not able to breath.LOL But I went a spit what I had in my mouth out and coughed for a few minutes and was fine. Now I just laugh about it. My uncle told me thats what I get for taking a man's "beer" from him. We didn't get to spent new years eve together because he had to work. But he came over on New Years day and we pretty much relaxed the whole day. Some of his Aunts and Uncle and cousins were there, so I got to meet them. And enjoyed it alot. But I think all and all It was a very fun time for us. Its kinda nice getting things from two families too.

Well I thought I would start our blog! (even though we aren't married quite yet) But we only have 78 more days before we are!! And I can't believe how time is flying by. I'm happy it is though!! But to tell you alittle of how we started. My family moved into the Tremonton 2nd ward a few months after he left on his mission. His mom then became our visiting teacher, and when he had about a year or so left she'd tell me now when my son gets home I want him to ask you out. Well right after he had gotten home I decided to move to Orem to go to school. So we didn't get to date, at least not then. I then moved home at the end of summer, decided Orem/Provo wasn't the right place to be at the time. And right before I moved bac I was home for the weekend and he had a gamenight at his parents house that I got invited to and we meant there. After I had moved home we started to hang out more. And after a few weeks he asked me out. But I have been so blessed to have JJ in my life and am so grteful for him!! He's more than I could have ever asked for. And I can honestly say he makes me want to be a better person. I am such a worry wart and he can calm me down and make me realize it'll be fine and to just relax!! I can't believe I got such a great guy!! I don't now what I would do without him now.
