Happy Halloween

We hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! Ours was a blast once we started out trick-or-treating! Kyler was kinda grumpy at first but once we got going he didn't want to stop!! We first went around our neighborhood and left Xander with my mom. Then we headed over to JJ's parents neighborhood and hit a few houses around there and took Xander in the stroller, he loved being out and seeing everything! We then went to see JJ's aunt and uncle since they have wanted to see the baby. His cousin and friends were getting all spooked up to go out and scare people, they even got Kyler at one point and all he did was laugh after he jumped. We then headed home, Kyler was very tired and we got him ready for bed, of course not before having a couple pieces of candy out of the hall he got!

It was Xander's First Halloween!!

We couldn't decide on what to be, so we ended up letting Kyler decide. Xander was a Skeleton,  JJ was a Ghost, I was a Pumpkin, and Kyler was a Devil! I found it funny he picked to be a devil it was kinda fitting!

Out Trick-or-Treating!!

We also finally got the crib put back together! We decided to just use Kyler's since it was half way set up already. I'm hoping he'll adjust to it fast! Kyler at first didn't like Xander being in it, but after a minute he was excited to have him sleeping so close!

It was a very fun day! Trick-or-Treating is alot more fun when the kids are old enough to enjoy it. Can't wait for next year!! Now to get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas:)

Yummy Spooky Treats

Tonight we decorated some cookies and cakes for Halloween. We had gotten a Frankenstein cake tin last week at target and wanted to try it out! So we baked that and some cookies and made a family night out of it. Kyler was more into eating the frosting than actually decorating, and ended up getting covered in it. He would get mad if we tried to take the cup of frosting that was by him to decorate with, he wanted it all to himself! He did help me put sprinkles on the orange cake so it ended up with a ton on it. After we got done we took that cake and some cookies to Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Rhett.
We are super excited for tomorrow and to get all dressed up and go trick-or-treating! Can't believe Halloween is here already, but we are already very excited for Christmas!!

Xander 3 Month Photos

I've been wanting to get some pictures of Xander in the stuff we had him in for his newborn photos to compare how big he has gotten. I just haven't seemed to have the time to do it, so last night when he woke up in the middle of the night and was wide awake I decided to snap some. He is just so cute!! I love his little face so much!!

He is getting so big already it makes me sad! Also there will be lots more cute hats to come...I just found a bunch of Christmas ones I can't wait to make for the boys!! Can't believe it'll be here in less than 2 months!

Family Picture Sneak Peek

We just got this sneak peek of our pictures tonight! I love it:) I'm so happy we got one of Kyler smiling since he was being a stinker while we were taking them. You can sure tell him and JJ are father and son since they have the same smile!! Xander is also wearing the outfit Kyler did in our pictures two years ago...love hand-me-downs! I can't wait to see the rest of them!!

Our photographer was amazing! She was so nice and patient with Kyler. This was our first time using her and we will probably be using her from now on. Fun Halloween Weekend

I'm just so mad at myself I didn't get any pictures of what we did! Friday Tremonton had there trick-or-treat in town so after a day full of shopping we took the boys around. Kyler had a blast! Alot of the places you would have to go into so I would stay back with the stroller while JJ took Kyler after he would get a treat he would look at me, show me what he got, say ''Yay'' and then put the treat in his bag. It made us excited for Halloween and to see him then.

On Saturday we got up early she headed to the Zoo! I realized on the way down I had forgot my camera and then my phone died so no pictures. We all had fun though! They had booths through out the zoo for the kids to trick-or-treat at, with that and seeing the animals Kyler was in heaven!! Xander was really good as well and loved to be out and seeing new things. Once we were done at the zoo we head back up to the Willard/Perry area to have our family pictures taken. Kyler did not want to cooperated at all, thankfully our photographer was understanding and patient. I think we were able to get some good shots though and I can't wait to see them! After that we headed home since JJ had to work. Once he left and Kyler woke up from his nap we got out the new Tinkerbell movie (I may not have a girl but I still love the girlie Disney movies). Kyler was actually glued to it, which was a change since he usually will only watch for a minute and then play. We then went to bed and have just had a lazy day at home today. Its been such a great weekend, and we are so excited for Halloween!!

Pumpkins

Tonight we decorated our pumpkins. Kyler was so excited! We had gotten four so he got to paint one and help us carve one. We ended up free handing the ones we carved because the paper we printed the patterns on was to tough to try to cut through. I think they still turned out pretty good though!

These were some pictures I snapped of the boys while we were doing the pumpkins...Xander slept through most of it.

Kyler wasn't to sure about putting his hand in the pumpkin, but once he did he liked it!

I think we are now all ready for Halloween! We have some fun things this weekend including: A Little Trick-or-Treating, Boo at the Zoo, and Family Pictures! I'm so excited for it all!!

Halloween Party Time

The Guest:

*We didn't get a picture of Little Rodney, but he was there too.

What We Did:

We made Ghost, Spiders, Masks, Felt Cutout with Stickers, and Snap Bracelets.

What We Ate:

Our Spooky Treats included Frankenstein Cones the kids got to fill with Goblin Teeth (candycorn), Pumpkin Poop (cheese puffs), Zombie Scabs (Golden Grams), Witch Warts (raisins), and Ghost Poop (mini marshmallows). We also had Skelton's on suckers (made with white chocolate pretzels, marshmallows, and tootsie pops), Mummy juice boxes, and Sugar cookies and Chex Mix that isn't pictured.

Just Having Fun:

After our crafts the kids had fun playing together and running around.

After Party:

After everyone went home we all cuddled up and took a nap.

Highlights:

*Khloe is so cute and talks so well...when ever she would see the babies she would say,” Cute Baby.” She also thought it was a birthday party and kept talking about the cake, and even thanked me for the cake when she left. Everytime she saw a ghost she would call it Casper..she is such a smarty! She said Kyler's name so well but by the end of the party she was calling him Kylee it was so funny! She is such a doll!
*Ava had the funniest smiles! When we were making the Ghost she would take the jewels from the snap bracelets and put them on the eyes of the Ghost to make it pretty. A few minutes before she left I told Kyler not to get into the closet anymore and she stood guard at the door he fell down (his way of sulking) and she started to laugh...which made me laugh! When they were leaving we had shut the screen door and her and Kyler kept blowing kisses at each other. These little girls make me want one!!
*Kyler was kinda a stinker while we were doing the crafts because he was more into eating everything and just wanting to run around. I think one of the funniest things that happened was he sneezed and had a huge booger come out while I was trying to get the napkins open he had started to play with it, it sounds gross but it was funny! Another funny thing was him and Khloe had been out in the Kitchen and when they came into the other room they had their arms locked together like he was escorting her, It was so cute!! After everyone left was when he decided he wanted to do the crafts so we made more if the felt shapes.
*It was also nice for us moms to get to catch up with each other since we don't get together as much as we use to. The kids got along so great and it was fun watching them play together.
It was so much fun! Thank you to Donna and Khloe, Ashlee, Ava, and Little Rodney for coming!! I can't wait to get together again!! Also thank you Donna for taking pictures!!

Just Love Them

I wanted to make sure to get these pictures posted on here. These boys sure love each other! Xander is starting to be awake more and just wants to sit up and watch whatever Kyler is doing. His eyes are glued to Kyler when he can see him, and he is always smiling! Kyler also loves entertaining him, and will try (and usually succeeds) waking him up if he's asleep. Its so fun watching their relationship forming already. I just love it!!

The other night we were having a rough night...Kyler would not go to sleep and kept waking Xander up with his crying which would led to Xander crying. This went on for a couple of hours and this mom was about to have a meltdown of her own. I went to make Xander a bottle and asked Kyler to watch Xander for me on the bed and to make sure he didn't fall off. It was really quite while I was in the kitchen so I got nervous and fixed his bottle as fast as I could. When I got to the door of our room this is what I saw.....

I love those little faces and was so happy they were finally asleep. I just couldn't get over how cute they were snuggling together.

I just love them so much and am so very grateful to have them in my life. I don't know what I would do with out them, they make my life so fun and full...and yes stressful at times but its all worth it. I just wish time would slow down, I want to enjoy them before they get older and start fighting all the time. Kyler today blew me kisses all day long, everytime I walked into a room he would do it he was also jumping from his tool bench to the couch and before he would jump he would do it and wave at me. It was just so cute! I love having those little moments to remember for the times he's being difficult.

We also got our first giggle out of Xander today! Well kinda...he was sleeping when he did it, but it was still so cute. Also makes me wonder what he was dreaming about! I'm looking forward to have him giggle all the time. I forgot to mention on the let post that he love the LMFAO song ''Sexy And I Know It.'' He can be crying and if he hears that he stops, or if we sing it to him he will just smile and get so excited. It makes me laugh that he loves that song, but whatever makes him happy!

Anyways I was just going through my pictures on my phone and wanted to upload these, every time I go through my pictures it makes me so happy to have these little guys, and feel so blessed to have them! I am lacking in pictures of Kyler by himself, but that's mostly because he won't hold still for very long. But I sure love their little faces!!

Xander at 3 Months!

This little guy is 3 months already!! And much like his older brother he just likes to grow and grow. He is such a happy baby...the only time he isn't is when he is hungry or needs a diaper change. And his mommy is sure in love with his smiles! Here is a few things about him...

At 3 Months Xander:

Weighs 15 pounds 3 ounces.

Is 26 inches tall.

He pretty much skipped a size and is wearing 6-9 month clothing.

He has started to grawl and still coo's all the time.

He has found his hands and likes to chew on them, he is starting to try to re ach his arms out.

He is also really close to being able to roll over.

He sleeps from 10:30p.m. to 5:00a.m. with a few naps during the day when Kyler will let him. We are also fixing the crib up this week since he is getting to big for his little bed.

He eats 4-5 ounces every 2 hours.

He loves to sit up and look around. He also likes the t.v. and to watch Kyler play.

He likes when we sing patty cakes and itsy bittsy spider. He still loves peekaboo too.

We just love him and can't believe how fast he is growing!

Happy Half Birthday Kyler!

Today is Kyler's HALF BIRTHDAY!

Happy 2.5 to my little buddy!

I'm dying that you'll be 3 in six months! 3 just sounds So Old!

Today, we had a fun day for your half birthday! You played basketball in the morning before it got to cold, then we had lunch at McDonalds, went to Target your favorite place, then you took a nap, then we watched Finding Nemo and had ice cream, you played somemore before bedtime. What a fun day for you!

I wanted to tell you a little about yourself at 2 1/2 years old

You weigh 38 pounds. You are 3 feet 2.5 inches tall (38.5 inches). You wear a size 9 shoe and a size 4T-5T in clothes.

You love to watch TV and movies. Your favorites are: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Chuggington, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Octonauts, Finding Nemo, Madagascar, Rio, Tangled and The Lion King.

Your favorite toys to play with are your sports things- bats, balls, golf clubs, etc. Your favorite sports right now are golf, football and basketball. Some other favorites are trucks, blocks, and tools.

You try your hardest to talk and are getting better all the time! Your favorite phrase is ''Where'd it go?'' and then saying ''There it is!'' even if the thing isn't lost.

A new thing you are doing is when we sit down to eat or going to bed you will fold your arms to say prayers. It makes me smile everytime you do it!

You are starting to have a great little memory too. If something has hurt you in the past you will still cuse at it when you see it (mostly the treadmill). You also remember where we and grandma keep the snacks, you always get into grandma's stash when we go over.

You sometimes have quite the spunky attitude and can be stubborn. When you don't want to do something, you will NOT do it. But you also have the sweetest disposition. You feel so bad when you hurt someone's feelings. You are great to say you're sorry and give hugs and kisses (sometimes). :) I love that you have started saying thank you!!

You are crazy! You are loud! You never stop going, going, going all day long! You are definitely a boy through and through, but we love every single thing about you. We hope you always know that!

Halloween Painting

On Friday we are having some friends over to do some Halloween crafts. I decided to make sure the paint I got would work for some of the projects. I let Kyler paint his own dish and he had a blast! After we had gotten the plates done I decided to keep the fun going on we made bats out of egg cartons and ghosts out of leaves and put them on a string to hang up. Everything turned out so good! and Kyler had a blast. We are both way excited to do more crafts with friends on Friday!!

Halloween Time

I'm so excited its almost Halloween! We have some fun things planned for the next few weeks, and i'm hoping the boys will enjoy them. Kyler is way excited to go Trick-or-Treating...I just hope he'll wear his costume. We have got the house all decorated up. Didn't do much on the inside, but the outside is cute!

New Hobby

I decided I needed a new hobby since its starting to get cold outside so we won't be constantly going going going. There have been so many thing on Pinterest I have wanted to try and alot of them being things you crochet. I tried to learn how to crochet when I was younger but didn't have the patients for it. So now since my patients is alot better after having kids I thought I'd try again. I tried to start Sunday night and couldn't figure it out, but after having my mom show me what I was doing wrong I picked it right up! And I love it:) I have made 3 hats for Xander...I'm still debating on making some for Kyler since he usually won't wear them. I'm currently working on some headbands and scarfs. I'm so glad to have figured it out. Here are the hats I've made so far for my handsome little stud...

JJ's Birthday and More

This past Tuesday was JJ's 26th Birthday!! We didn't do anything to special since he had worked the night before and was super tired. We did make him a Spiderman cake and gave him his presents. He got a new shirt, shoes, tool kit, poker set, The Avenger's movie, Comedy cd, some games, and a cup full of cash. The boys were also so good that day which felt like a present in itself to both of us! So we just enjoyed our day at home, and we got to watch the movie once the boys went to bed which was nice!

 These next pictures were just so cute! We got both boy's some warm jammies for fall/winter. Kyler is in love with the ones with the monsters on them...and would wear them all day everyday if he could!

This one is just so precious to me...I love all my boys!!

 Both boys got a set of monkey jammies...they are so cute! I loved Xander's because there is a set where one monkey is bigger than the other and it just reminded me of my boys. They love each other so much and like to cuddle together!

 The next morning their coats arrived! Such little studs!!
