For Halloween this year we did a Despicable Me 2 theme. JJ was Gru, I was a Purple Minion and the boys were Yellow Minions. Here are a few pictures of us in our costumes.
For Thanksgiving this year we decided to stay home and cook dinner ourselves. It was actually a really nice day. We all stayed in our jammies and just relaxed. We got dinner made and everyone quite enjoyed it which I was grateful for! I was extremely nervous where I had never cooked a turkey before. After dinner we just watched Christmas movies and enjoyed the day as a family.
The boys also decorated their little tree a little while after Thanksgiving. Where we weren't going to be home for Christmas I didn't want to worry about getting the big one out so this was it as far as decorations went this year.
