Go figure

More pictures of my cute little boy! Even though its hard to get pictures of him when he won't hold still for more than a second. He has just been so happy the past few days and its made life alot easier. We've just been enjoying relaxing at home this week for the most part, since we know the next few weeks will be pretty busy. Anyway here are the pictures.

So my head is going crazy tonight, and I know to a lot of people this post won't make much sense right now! We have decided to try and start down a road that could lead to something wonderful but for right now its kinda stressful. Once we know more about what will happen I will explain! But for now I just needed to post some quotes to keep me sane and that I need to keep in mind through out the next little while.

Basketball Boy!

As I have mentioned before Kyler is very obsessed with Basketball right now! Anytime he sees a Basketball hoop he points and tries to say Basket, and if he doesn't get to try and shoot for awhile he starts throwing a fit. My parents have a hoop outside there house and he is always wanting to go outside and play while we are there, and will try to open the door so he can go out. The other day while we were waiting for my mom to get home I decided to let him shoot around for awhile. He tries so hard to shoot high enough  to get the ball in the hoop. Its fun to watch him! He will try to dribble the ball too, which consist of him holding the ball and hitting the ground with it. I was trying to get him to do it on the video, but he wouldn't. Hopefully I'll catch him doing it one of these days!

Doctors and Dentist.

I forgot when you get this far along in a pregnancy you feel like your at the doctors all the time! Then to add to that we had our cleanings at the dentist today and I of course get to go there again too.
I had my baby doctors appointment on Monday. The baby is still doing well:) Mom on the other hand could use a break from the kicking of the bladder and ribs, and a goodnight sleep which is very difficult to get these days. The doctor did say that if everything keeps going smoothly the c-section to get him here will be on July 17th...two months from today!! I am very excited for that day to get here and to meet our new little babe!
As I said earlier we went to the dentist today. It was Kyler's first time going and he did really well. He kept teasing the dentist and putting his tongue over the teeth the dentist wanted to look at. He, thankfully, has no cavities! I figured he wouldn't because he is obsessed with brushing his teeth. The doctor gave him a new toothbrush and he brushed his teeth with it all the way home, he also got to pick a prize out of a treasure chest they had and picked out a hot wheel. I was glad he did so well. I was really nervous he would just scream the whole time.

My Mother's Day

I really do have such an amazing husband!! I was woken up with breakfast in bed. Including: pancakes, eggs, fruit, and some oj, It was so good! When I was done with that Kyler brought me in some gifts. I so wish I would have had my camera available to snap a picture of him coming in with them, he was so cute and had the biggest smile on his face. I opened a glass block that had "We <3 You Mommy" on the front with JJ, Kyler, and Xander's names etched into the back of it. The next little package had a beautiful Mother's Ring in it! It has the boy's names on the sides with a heart shape gem in each of there birthstone of the front of it. JJ then brought in a bigger bag for me to open, in it was the "Baby Bullet" System with the extra steamer and cups! I've wanted it since Kyler was eating baby food but never got it, well now I have it even though we are alittle was from using it. I'm so excited about it:) The steamer also acts as a sterilizer for bottles and binkies so that will come in handy! JJ then handed me a card and there was another surprise in that! He bought us a getaway to Las Vegas!! There isn't any set date since he didn't know if I would feel like going before or after the baby is here. I'm not sure yet when we will go either since we are so busy this next month, but am looking very forward to getting away whenever we get too:) We then got ready to go to Sacrament meeting there all the mom's got a flower. We then headed down to my aunts house for dinner and spent sometime with my Mom's family. Kyler had a blast playing with my younger cousins. They were playing "Avengers" and they decided Kyler was the Hulk!! I laughed so hard when I heard them, Kyler would even growl when they told him to! We had a good time down there, once Kyler was tired we decided to head home. He slept all the way home, once we got back we went outside and played. We got his pool out and his climber. He for the most part had fun, but wasn't a big fan of mom or dad squirting him above his waist. Me and JJ ended up getting into a water fight! It was alot of fun just to play outside with my boys!! I forgot to mention that Autoliv gave them the day off so he didn't have to go to work tonight, that was a nice little surprise too. It has been such a wonderful day! I am such a lucky girl to have my husband! He treats me like a queen:) I love him so much! I am also very very lucky to have my little boy and to have another one on the way. Kyler has given me so many kisses and hugs today and I just love it! He is such a sweetheart, and I hope our new little guy is just like him!

Being Mommy

To start these saying hit me hard when I read them, and I just love them.

It's still weird for me to think that I actually get to celebrate mother's day as a mom, even though its been over 2 years since I became one. I think a lot of it is because I don't feel like I need to be praised for being one. I love being "Mommy" and I honestly don't think anything could make me as happy as I am being one. There are times when I just want to scream because I'm very frustrated over the fits and crying and such, but then all the cute little moments just make those times all worth it. I have been very blessed to be able to stay at home with Kyler and here soon our new little boy! I will look at other women my age who have went to college and have these great jobs, and sometimes I will feel like I haven't accomplished much since being out of high school. But I KNOW none of those jobs would be as fulfilling as the job I have as a mom! I still can't get over how instantly you fall in love with a little baby, or even when they are in your womb. When we decided to try for another baby I honestly didn't know how there was more room in me to love another one as much as I love Kyler, and now I couldn't imagine not being able to meet this new guy. Its the scariest thing in the world to me right now to imagine something going wrong, I already love him so much!! I am truly humbled by the fact that Heavenly Father sent me these boys, and grateful for the strength he gives me to do so. They are my world and I wouldn't have it any other way. I Love them so so much, and hope they know that!
On the subject of motherhood...I have such an amazing mother! She always, always put our needs over her own. She is the strongest person I know, and she truly is my hero! I love her so much and don't know what I would do without her! I'm thankful for how she taught me and I hope I can be the type of mom she has been! I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!
I hope all of you Mom's have a very special day! I know all of you that will read this deserve it:)

It's My Birthday!

I can't believe I am 23..it seems so weird to say that. With how I look at it though at least its only 23 lol.  I woke up to JJ making me a cake. It was one we had seen on Pinterest, he wanted so bad for me to make it when we saw it but I just never got around to it, so he did it today. It's very Yummy!! I had told him all I wanted for my birthday was the zoo pass and a double stroller for when the baby gets here. He of course went up and beyond and got me more. (Pictures Below) He had them all out on the table for me when I came down stairs. I feel very spoiled! We had decided to go to a movie today and my brother was kind enough to tend Kyler for us. We went and saw "The Avengers" JJ had been wanting to go since the trailer had came out, and after seeing some of the previews and everyone ranting and raving over it I decided that's what we would go see. We didn't realize when we bought our tickets we were going to the 3D screening, but it was awesome to see it that way! It was a very good movie and one we will be buying once it comes out. It was so nice just to be out the two of us and enjoy sometime together. We then went and ate at a Pizza buffet place and we of course loved it! They had all you can eat salad, pizzas, pastas, and desert pizzas. After we ate we headed home since JJ had to go to work tonight. Kyler and I spent the rest of the day playing and then went to my mom's for a little while. It was really nice too, because when we got home he went right to bed leaving me some time to relax and just enjoy the quite!

He also got me the double stroller I wanted but its on back order so we are waiting for it to get here, and he made me an appointment at the salon to go get my hair and toes done!

It was a very fun birthday weekend! JJ is awesome and I love him so much and appreciate him so much for treating me so good. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend the past couple of days:) 

Birthday-Eve

As a birthday present I told JJ I wanted to get a year pass at the zoo. That way we can go whenever we want and let Kyler just run around. We decided to go down to Salt Lake today and enjoy a day down there and to celebrate my birthday a little. It was such a fun day and Kyler did really well considering he wouldn't sit in his stroller for much of the day. Here are the events from our day!

We started off the day with lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. We have wanted to try it and have heard such great things and we now know why!! Kyler also enjoyed himself. We were seated in a booth and it had mirrors around it, which he found very entertaining. He flirted with the waitress and she brought him a little appetizer for free. He also had some mashed potatoes and thought they were so good and kept saying "Yummy." 

We then did some shopping around City Creek and then headed over to Temple Square. On the way to temple square Kyler kept pointing to the temple and then would try and run to get there faster, it was so cute! Once we got there he fell in love with the reflection pool and tried on a number of times to get in it and play. 

We walked around for a few minutes and then found a fountain that Kyler became obsessed with.

We tried to get a decent family picture while we were by the fountain...as you can tell we weren't very successful!

Once we walked Temple Square we decided to head upto the Zoo. It makes me sad seeing how big Kyler has gotten since the pictures we took last year while we were there! We tried to get pictures that were similar to the ones from last year but he was more interested in seeing everything than taking pictures. We did get a few good ones and some of the animals.

These monkeys below were so funny to watch. The one waved the one over and then had it scratch its back. JJ's response to that was, "They should name JJ and Sharon." Because I'm always having him scratch my back:)

We ended up going by the Rhino's again and the one was up walking around!

We went on the Carousal, Kyler wasn't to sure about it until it started moving and then was in heaven! 

We tried to get a family picture on the train...again not very successful! I actually laugh when I see this picture and that's the only reason why I posted it. We all look oh so lovely;)

He still loves the waterball...go figure!

We had such a great time at the Zoo and are looking forward to going again next month when they open up Rocky Shore's! I can't wait to see the new animals. I'm hoping that more of the animals will be up and playing next time too, a lot of them were hiding or sleeping today.

It was such a fun way to spend my Birthday-eve and I look forward to doing it more often!  More to come soon on the events of tomorrow and mother's day! I'm kinda liking having a whole weekend of celebration:)
