18 Weeks!!

Today I am 18 weeks along!! Its been going incredibly fast seems like we just found out I was pregnant and now I'm almost to the half way point:) March 7th does seem like its taken forever to get here but thankfully its just a little over 2 weeks away now. I'm so ready to know what we are having! J.J. is still so sure its a girl. I am very excited because we already have alot of thing for the baby and if its a boy we won't need much of anything if its a girl all we'll need is a carseat and clothes. J.J. ordered a new swing, bouncer seat, and a rocking sleeper for it this week. They'll all be nice to have since the ones we had for Kyler are pretty beaten up or don't work anymore. We do have our names picked out!! But were waiting till we know what the baby is to announce them.
I'm starting to feel baby move every once in awhile:)  It makes the days I'm not feeling so good worth it! The morning sickness is finally getting better, I'm only nauseous 2-3 days a week instead of everyday. I'm still waiting for the 2nd trimester energy boost to hit though. Its hard to find the motivation to do anything. Cravings are pretty much anything sweet! The weirdest one I've had is for tuna fish sandwiches(mmmm...). I have really bad aversions though. Something will sound good one minute and the next will sound completely disgusting.
Below is my 18 week belly picture! I'm in that weird phase where people aren't sure if I'm pregnant or just have gained weight. I'm excited to get more of a bump even though I feel like I'm showing more with this one than I did with Kyler. This one seems to be sitting lower too. Anyways here's the picture...

Valentine's Week

This week has sure been a busy one! I also didn't get any pictures of us on Valentines day, due to me being sick and not feeling like taking any. We had a great day though! We got Kyler a stuffed frog that he loves, a coloring book, crayons, of course treats, and some Mickey Mouse sippy cups. J.J. got me some lotions and sprays from bath and body, Breaking Dawn, flowers, and surprised we with a getaway for our anniversary next month:) along with letting  me get some stuff for the baby. He got some new pants (which were desperately needed lol), an air popcorn popper, some candy and homemade treats.
Along with Valentines Day it just has seemed like we have been on the run all week. We've had something going on everyday and I'm looking forward to being able to relax and hopefully sleep in tomorrow!! We are still redecorating some of the rooms in the apartment and getting some decor for the new little one. The crib is here but we are scared to put it up because of Kyler.
Here are some pictures from this week.
^Not the exact cookies I made J.J.

Happenings of the past few days

I had my second doctors appointment on Monday:) Nothing really exciting to report. I got to hear the heartbeat again and its still around 170bpm, and everything seems to be going right on track. My next appointment is March 7th which I will get my big ultrasound and hopefully get to find out what the baby is!! Its driving me crazy not to know for sure, J.J. is still so sure its a girl and even went out and bought some ceramic letters to the name we have picked out for me to paint. He says he has fathers intuition and knows these things, I hope for his sake he's right lol. I'm hoping by that time this morning(or all day) sickness will go away, its kicking my butt this time. I'm also starting to show alittle bit, I'll have to try and get another belly picture in the next few days!
Its also that blessed time of year for tax returns:) We got ours finally and we're able to order the crib and dresser!! The crib is the same brand as Kyler's and I still adore his, especially since it converts...and since he keeps growing and will probably need a big bed in just a few month we decided to just order another crib. I also liked the fact that this one comes with teething rails. Kyler's didn't and he had scraped the front on the crib up pretty bad from biting it, I didn't even know there was such things as teething rails till I saw it on this crib and wish I had known about it sooner but oh well. Here are the pictures of what the crib and dresser look like... The other night Kyler took a late nap and didn't wake up till around 7:30ish by that time it was dark out side and we had his nightlight on, when I heard him starting to play I went up to get him and he was just dancing to his radio. Well pretty soon he saw his shadow on the wall and thought it was the funniest thing in the world. He would just run up to it and start dancing or doing different actions and thought it was hilarious that the shadow did the same thing. It entertained him for a good 30 minutes! We got our first nigh..nigh.. out of him the other night for night..night. J.J. heard it and started freaking out, I about died laughing at him. Slowly but surely he's starting to say a few things:)

Other than that I've just been busy doing crafts and cleaning...it just doesn't seem to ever end! But the crafts have been alot of fun to work on and I'm excited to finish up the ones for the baby once we find out for sure. Pinterest has given me so many fun and creative ideas to try and I love trying to make new things. My sewing machine broke, which a year ago I probably wouldn't have cared but now there are so many thing I want to make! I'm hoping J.J. has got my hints about it, and maybe get me one for V-day but we shall see. But that's whats been going on around here this week:)

Pinterest recreation!!

Recently I joined pinterest and love all the awesome ideas, crafts, and other things they have on there. I found the poms on there that alot of people are hanging above babies crib and loved the idea! As I was looking at others on there I ran across some Rosetta kissing balls and fell in love with them! I read the tutorial last night on theidearoom.blogspot.com and found out that you use crepe paper to do them. I had some left over from Kyler's birthday last year and some Styrofoam balls and decided to try and make one today. It took alot of time...around six hours!! I'm happy with how it turned out though:) I plan on making two more in pink and grey...just waiting on getting the crepe paper. If the baby is a girl they will go above the crib, if not they will go in our room. I already feel like I'm in nesting mode!! That part of the room will probably be done soon after we find out what the baby is for sure and if it is a girl it will be done really fast lol. I've been working on projects I've been saying are for our room hinting at getting new bedding but if its a girl it'll all go towards decorations for her. Its been hard to not think its a girl with JJ already calling it the girl name we have picked out every time the baby is brought up. If its a boy I'll be just as happy though, I think it would be fun for Kyler to have a baby brother, but he does get along with girls so I hope either way he'll be happy. Anyways I'm rambling, back to the Rosetta balls. If you want to see how these are made the link is... http://www.theidearoom.net/2012/01/video-tutorialtissue-paper-rosettes.html
These are pictures of the one I made, the pictures aren't the greatest since my camera was about to die. But you get an idea of how it looks.

Toy Room

So as I have mentioned a number of times Kyler has TOO MANY toys!! I keep wanting to get rid of some but he plays with them all~ which surprises me but he does. And I figure the next one might like them too. So since his toys were taking up almost half of our living room we decided we needed to do something about it. Tonight we decided to clean out the closet underneath our stairs and put it in a closet we have in the kitchen. I can't believe with some organizational packing we actually got everything in the smaller closet. He still doesn't have alot of room to play in there because of having two huge bins of toys plus his bigger ones but he LOVES it!! We didn't fit his Truck in there put it fits in the corner between the couches really well. Its so nice being able to have my living room mostly toy free. We should have done this a long time ago!! Our next project is organizing his room and closet so we can fit another crib and dresser in it. Shouldn't be to hard since its a big room. Which should answers a question we've been getting alot which is "Are you moving?" Right now, No. I don't have the energy to go through a move right now, it was all I could do to move the few boxes I did today let alone packing more. So for now we are staying put. We'll most likely move after the baby is born and I've had a little time to recover. Anyways here are some pictures of our little monster tonight!

Update on my Sweet Little Guy

I just realized I haven't had a Kyler update in a while, and want to share somethings so I don't forget them. I've been horrible about taking pictures since Christmas so I don't have any new ones of him. He is 21 months now and I can't believe he'll be 2 in just a few short months!
Anyways he is into throwing! Everything and anything he can he will throw. Thankfully he has quite a few balls so he will mostly throw them and he is sure getting quite a little arm on him.
He is in love with football, we can thank his uncles and grandpa's and dad for that! He will just sit and watch the games with them. He will clap when the crowd starts to and he has learned the touchdown sign.
He has also learned how to tickle, well what he thinks is tickling. He loves to do it to J.J., and make him laugh.
He catches on to everything lately! I have an electric razor I used one day to shave my legs because I forgot to in the shower well he saw me do it and now when we are in the bathroom he will go over and grab it and start trying to shave his legs! After Christmas we found a little massager in the walmart clearance that I bought and boy do I love it, Kyler does too! He will grab it and turn it on and put it on his belly to tickle him and just laugh, it so funny!
The potty-training kinda took a halt during the holidays, so we are trying to get back to him being comfortable sitting on the potty and going. He loves sitting on the potty with a diaper on, but not so much when his diaper is off. Hopefully he'll get over that soon and we can get better with it. It would be really nice to not have 2 kids in diapers lol.
He is quite the little helper too, he loves throwing things away. While we are cleaning he'll grab either his broom or vacuum and help us clean up. He will pick up his toys if we are at other peoples houses just not ours when we start to put things away he will get them right back out.
He still would rather play than watch TV, but does have a few shows that he likes. His favorite is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, he loves Mickey Mouse! He will also watch Sesame Street, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Dora.
He doesn't really have a favorite food nor one that he doesn't like. He eats everything and anything all day long!! I don't know how he isn't chunkier than he is.
He loves all his toys and is getting into puzzles and building things.
He is in a 3t but we will see for how long! He is still growing so fast.
He knows where the baby is and will come and rub my belly when we ask him where the baby is. He will "rock the baby" with his arms too.
He still isn't say very many words, so we will most likely be taking him to a therapist after his next check-up. His jabber is so funny to listen to though, especially when he is cussing something.
Well I think that is all for now.

Belly Picture

Here's the first belly picture! About 12.5 weeks along. This is poor quality because its off my cell, our laptop charger broke so I can't get pictures from my camera up. Anyways so far things are the same, morning sickness sucks!! Lol. We did find out yesterday that J.J's sister Debbie is having another little girl #2! We are way excited for them. Makes me way anxious to find out what we're having, but I'll be patient:) well that's all for now.
