First Day of School Pictures

I don't get to be home when Kyler goes to school today so we did pictures yesterday. 

It was interesting because he is usually such a monster when it come to me taking his picture, but yesterday he was all for it and got all excited! So when the rain stopped we headed out to shoot a few picture of him and here they are

I of course had to get the classic first day of school picture!

This was his response when I asked him if he was excited for school! 

He wanted to play with the sunflowers.

JJ said he looked like he was being a hobo here but I thought it was super cute!

I wish he would stop growing up so fast!

Crazy little runner

I sure hope he has a great first day! He has started getting shy but I'm hoping he will warm up and make friends quickly. Being in school for the little bit in the spring and summer he went to has already helped him so much and I am so grateful for it! I love when I hear him saying new things or even singing to songs on the radio which he has been doing a lot lately. I just love him so much, and I hate he is growing so fast.

August Random Pictures

No better way to enjoy the last days of summer than with corn on the cob.

We enjoyed the Fair Parade and got lots of goodies!

They fell asleep tonight soon after I got home! I miss them so much on my long weeks it made me sad they fell asleep so soon, but they are cute when they are asleep.

We went school shopping for Kyler this week. He starts pre-school again on Tuesday. He picked everything out him self, and was so excited over his shoes because they were the color of basketballs and had a star on them(converse). He has moved out of toddler clothing and into kids sizes. 3years old and in a size 5in kids:(

We have spent a lot of time at the new splash pad in town lately! We usually go a couple times a week and my friend Ashlee and her kids come with us about once a week and the kids run/crawl all their energy out

Oh I just love him!!!

One Year House Anniversary Project!

There are many many things I want to do to our house, but nothing drove me more crazy than the wood paneling walls in our basement! I remember when we looked at the house and neither me or JJ liked them and that was a reason we leaned towards a different house at the time, and when the price was raised on the other one we decided we would just live with the wood paneling. Well I got very sick of it this summer! I've been trying to decorate some of the rooms in the house that I never got to, but when I got to the basement I was completely lost. Sure if I liked fishing, deer, pheasants, or anything like that that were in the paneling it would have made it easier, but I hate it all! Then I had the idea to just paint it, but I debated for weeks over it because the one whole wall is paneled. Then one of my old roommates commented on a IG picture of mine and told me to just do it, she lives in a house that the wood paneling was painted over and loves it. So I went for it!

This isn't the best comparison picture but it gives an idea of it. 

and of course Kyler had to add his own touch to it the morning after I had finished painting it all!! 

I absolutely loved how it turned out and especially since I have added a bunch of other pieces/projects down there.. here are a few of them....

I have to give a big shout out to Tremonton Classified! All the big items I have purchased off there for amazing deals, and also we have de-junked alot to because of there. The whole basement project was basically funded by things we sold on there! 

I have only one more vinyl to put up under the pictures frames in the top picture and a few more touch ups to do and get pictures printed, and  we will officially be completed with it!!

It seems like we have been her longer than a year but at the sametime not. It was weird because after getting the painting done Kyler started saying "HOME" where before it was "HOUSE" I personally think its because we spend alot of time downstairs and(at least to me) its does feel alot more homeier now than it did before. I am so very grateful for our home and  the joy it has brought us so far! 

I will probably add better pictures when we get it completely finished up, I also painted and decorated  the upstairs bathroom, and am hoping to do the downstairs one too! 

Working Mom

So after lots of prayer and debating with myself I decided to go back to work! I am working at Logan Regional Hospital as a Housekeeper. And I have really enjoyed it so far. I was super sore the first week, but am starting to get more use to it. Everyone I work with is super nice and helpful and it has made it alot easier on me.
Of course it has been super hard to leave my boys. Kyler has turned into an even bigger monster than usual, since I started. When I get home he gets really clingy which hasn't been bad because i love snuggling him whenever he'll let me! I just hope he'll adjust to it soon so he isn't such a turd for grandma and dad when I'm at work. Xander hasn't seemed to mind it as much, he to gets very excited when I get home and just wants to be around me when I am, and again I love that!!

25th Anniversary!

My Parents Celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this month! 

25 years later they have 4 kids, one son-in-law, and two crazy grandkids!

And we all them so much!

Us kids went in and bought them a getaway to Vegas, which they really enjoyed!
