Christmas Time

This year instead of doing Elf On The Shelf, we did Hide and Hug Olaf. The boys loved it! When he arrived he brought with him a countdown calendar and some treats. The boys got to find him everyday and give him a hug and if they were naughty they had to give him a hug too.

We got a new tree this year and new decor, which made me so happy!
On  morning Kyler came into snuggle me before I got out of bed and the news was on. They did a segment about Toys-For-Tots. After the news was over he said, "Come On Mommy!" I said,"Where are we going?"
Kyler: "We got to go put a toy in the box so kids can have Christmas!"  I was a little shocked he actually was paying attention to the news segment and it made my heart burst that he wanted to go make sure other kids had Christmas. So I got up and got ready and we headed of to Walmart to put a toy in the box! I got a picture of him the first time. But everytime we went to Walmart between then and Christmas he made sure we put a toy in the box!
And then there is this little monster! He is so cute and can be so sweet but he sure does have a mischievous side to him!

Kyler's first ornament made at school.

We used the Portable North Pole app this year and it was so neat. The boys got calls and videos from Santa Clause to help them be good.

Our Christmas Card,

Disney On Ice: World's Of Fantasy

In November we took the boys to Disney On Ice again.

This one was really cute. They of course had Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. But they also did Cars, Tinkerbell, Little Mermaid, and Toy Story 3.

We even got Grandma and Grandpa and the uncles to come with us. My family hates pictures though so we didn't take any, and Kyler was being grouchy but I was able to snap a picture with Xander.
And him with all his goodies.

Halloween Time

It seemed like we celebrated Halloween all month long!

We got this Countdown Calendar when we were at Disneyland. I would change it everyday and it wouldn't take long before it was back to saying 31. I finally asked Kyler why he kept changing it, and he said, "Because Halloween is on 3-1 Mom Duh!" So from there on we kept it at 31.

Kyler got to paint pumpkins at school this year. He was so excited over it and had to come home and take a picture with it. I asked him what he drew on it and he said, "Disneyland and Tornados." Now if you know Kyler you know he has been obsessed with Tornados for a good year but it made me laugh he would put them with Disneyland. I sure hope that never happens!

We also painted pumpkins at home so Xander could join in on the fun.

Kyler also got to dress-up for their Pre-School Halloween Party. Since we had a few costumes from Disneyland I let him pick and he want to go as a Halloween Mickey.
Xander wanted to join in on the fun that day mommy's slippers and all.

Then on Halloween we all dressed up! Even JJ he's such a good sport.
The boys were being naughty, even though you can't tell in this picture, so we didn't get a full family one.
We went to the town trick-or-treat and then came home for dinner. I was surprised the boys actually liked it! Xander even ate the pepper.
We then headed out for more Trick-or- Treating and the boys got lots of candy and were tuckered right out!

Day 8 & 9: Daddy's Birthday Breakfast and Traveling Home.

Day 8 happened to fall on JJ's Birthday. So we of course had to do Breakfast with Mickey that day!

Xander was in complete heaven with Mickey Mouse!

The kids got to get up and dance with the characters, Ky was to shy but Xander went right for it!
I also surprised JJ and had the crew sing to him! It was so funny!

We were right at the end of Breakfast so the Characters we free and the boys got a good 15 minutes with them by themselves. It was awesome! And they both loved it.
And one last hug before we left!
Xander also thought this statue was actually Goofy.

We were all so sad to leave! It was such an amazing trip and honestly so much better than the last. I couldn't believe all we got to do and see. We all can't wait to go again and Mommy maybe already planning our next trip..shhhh!

These were just while we were traveling home.

Day 7: Last Day in Both Parks

We started this day off in Disneyland as soon as we got through the gates we ran into Chip and Dale.

We wanted to make sure we got everything done we hadn't yet and rode all of our favorite rides one more time.

We had never been to the Royal Hall so we went there and the boys got to meet a couple of the Princesses again. Any guesses on which one is Kyler's favorite!?!

When we were done riding all the rides we want we stopped to get a picture in front of the Castle before heading over to California Adventure.

We headed straight for Bug's Land since we missed it before, and ran into Flik!

We of course had to hit Car's Land once again!

The boys loved their cone cups!

As we got around to the Pier we saw Donald Duck and Kyler wanted to go see him this time!

After Riding the Toy Story Ride we got to see Woody!

We then called it a day and headed out to Dinner!

*side note I don't know how we managed not to get a picture of me in my wheel chair this day! I forgot my medicines and swelled up like a balloon and could barely walk lol.

Kyler had to have a picture in front of the Hat.
While we waited to be seated we snapped a picture in front on the Restaurant.
Then we got to see Goofy!

I'm not sure at the moment were my sd card with the pictures from dinner here are so I will have to post them later but I have to tell this story so I can remember it.
It was pretty dead while we were there so the characters came around a number of times. Xander's favorite was Chip. Everytime he saw he he would get all excited. At one point a family came up to sit in the section we were in. Chip followed them up to say hi. When Chip was done Xander threw his arms out and was reaching out for him. Chip got down on one knee and started and threw his arms out acting for Xander.  It reminded me of those beach scenes were people run towards each other with there arms held out trying to get to one another. Anyway it made everyone in our area burst out laughing. Chip then came right over and gave Xander another hug before moving on to the next section. It times like these that make the Character Dining so worth it!

After dinner we walked around the Disney Hotel for a minute and Kyler wanted to send grandma a picture of the Mickey and Minney plants with the "Grandma Tree's" behind them.
