6 Weeks and More

This little cutie is already 6 weeks old!

He already likes to sit in the bumbo chair. He does pretty good at holding his head up already, and loves to be able to look around at everything!

We are starting to get a few smiles every so often!

Kyler has been so cute lately too, for the most part anyways. He has decided to copy everything we do, this was him on the laptop being like mommy.

 We also got bunkbeds for the boy's room since the price was just right(Free!) They are huge...queen on the bottom and full on the top. Kyler has loved it, and sleeps so much better at night!

 We finally have the house all set up! I will post pictures once we get the pictures we are waiting for:)

Summer Over Already?

I've always associated summer ending with school starting, even though I'm not in school or have kids in school. I still want to go do a few things before it starts getting cooler, but to me summer is coming to a close. I wish we could have done so much more but overall it has been great!
I'm looking so forward to the next few months though. Once the end of September hits all the fun begins, we'll have Xander's blessing, J.J's birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and then Christmas and all the fun leading up to each. We already have Kyler and Xander's Halloween costumes and I'm so excited to see them in them! I can't believe we have two kids to take around trick-or-treating this year, when last year I didn't even know I was pregnant.
We also have the boys Christmas all bought. Thank goodness for clearance isles! I can't stop thinking about waking up Christmas morning with both my boys and seeing their faces. Since we already have so many toys we didn't go all out like in the past. Don't get me wrong both boys are still getting spoiled, its just not with the great big toys like we have gotten Kyler a bunch of in the past. I'm really excited over the things we have gotten Kyler and have even found myself playing and enjoying them, which my husband always makes fun of:) Xander will only be 5 months at Christmas, but all his gifts are for about that age and I'm excited to see him start to learn and figure out how to do things. Even though he is already getting to big to fast. I like to think about the holidays coming up but then that just means he's getting older which makes me sad.
I'm just hoping the next few months will be as great as our summer has been...its going to be hard to beat this summer though!

Fair Time!

We went out to the fair last night while the parade was going on. JJ's family has always done that and since we didn't feel like standing out in the heat with a little baby we figured we'd take Kyler over and let him ride the rides. He had a blast!! He didn't get scared at all and I think he would have went on some of the bigger rides if he would have been big enough to go on them. He also loved seeing all the animals and petting a few of them. We all liked it until the crowds started to come, even Kyler was getting sick of all the people so we decided to leave. I was glad we went though and that Kyler had some fun! It was so fun to see his faces when he was on the rides:)

Brigham City Temple Open House

This Morning we got to go to the Temple Open House with my family. It was such a great experience and I loved being able to take the boys through with us! Kyler was so excited to be at the Temple and had a smile on his face the whole time. Every time he saw a picture of Jesus he would point it out and clap. He only got upset when we were in the baptismal font area because he wanted to get in the font. To me the best part of it was when we were in the sealing room and being able to look in the mirrors with both our boys! It made me emotional while we were standing there. I sure love my little family!! And I am so grateful to have the temples in our lives. We had taken a family picture while we were there but something happened to my camera on the way home and all my pictures have been deleted. We do get to go for another tour next week so maybe we'll be able to get another picture then that won't get deleted.

Xander 1 Month

It makes me sad to think Xander is already a month old! Like I said in the last post I don't know where the time has gone.  He is doing great though and is growing so much! I don't know why my boys just won't stay small for awhile.We all (including Kyler!) love him and don't know how we lived without him! Kyler has adjusted so well to having him around which I'm so thankful for, he is constantly giving him hugs and kisses. I love this picture of them, Kyler looks so happy!

At One Month Xander:

*Eats 6 ounces at each feeding about every 2-3 hours.

*Sleeps 3-5 hours at night 

*He is starting to not sleep all the time and likes to be up and looking around

*He is a mommy's boy

*He wears a size 1-2 diaper and is in 0-3 month clothing

*Isn't a big fan of his carseat until he is in the car and sometimes not even then

*Still not a big fan of the binky-he will take it every so often but most the time just spits it out

*Likes to growl/jabber 

*Loves bath time

And is just the cutest little thing!

I had taken a picture of him the other day after the bath in the Monkey towel and then remembered I had done the same with Kyler, only he was a little older. They are both adorable in it though!

Where Has The Past Few Weeks Gone?

I seriously can't get over the fact Xander is already 4 Weeks old!! It doesn't seem possible that its been that long already! The past few weeks have been so busy and some of the most exciting and yet some of the most difficult weeks I've been through. Thankfully we are almost all settled into our house, which might make things alittle easier.
Which I also can't believe we've been in the house for a week now! I don't really like how time seems to be in warp speed right now.
I promised myself I would be the sameway taking pictures all the time to capture all the cute moments with Xander as I have with Kyler and the past few weeks I haven't been able to get very many. I feel like he is growing so fast already, and I'm not being able to capture it all because of how busy we have been. I guess that's just how life is sometimes though.
I also feel like its taking me longer to heal from the c-section this time. Like I've said before I didn't do much moving out or in, but even just trying to decorate has made my incision start to hurt again. I so badly want to be able to go out and do things with Kyler, he needs a day out having fun! I just don't feel like I can do anything yet.
Anyways the house is coming together nicely. I love how some of the rooms have come together. I still need to decorate the boys' room and the bathrooms (they are missing like the towel racks and a mirror in one), and then just get the storage room somewhat organized.
Its is so nice having so much space. Kyler has been pretty good and I think its just because he has a big play area downstairs and just can explore around. It will be nice once he gets use to everything, and starts sleeping in his own bed though! I think we may also really start potty training soon. He is obsessed with the toilet, and is constantly trying to take his diaper off. I just hope it'll come pretty quick to him once we start!
