Oh My Silly Husband

Most husbands suprise their wifes with flowers or candy and things like that...not mine! My hubby suprised me this morning with a set of adjustable dumbbells!! Most women probably wouldn't like that...but I'm extremely thrilled:):) I'm starting a new exercise program this week and it was suggested to me to get some adjustable dumbbells because other people who have done the program increase they're strength really fast. I got looking but didn't find any I liked for the price I wanted...well sure enough J.J. went and bought the exact ones I wanted! I sure love him:) He has been so great through my whole weightloss journey. He keeps me motivated while at the sametime telling me I look great and I don't need to lose anymore if I don't want...which so isn't the case lol. But I'm very lucky to have a husband who keeps me going and one who doesn't mind me changing our meals or leaving to exercise alot....on the site I use, I hear of peoples spouses who aren't supportive or willing to help their spouses with it and it reminds me of how lucky I am!!

Who can tell mesquito bites from chicken pox!?!

I CAN'T!!....well not until they're a week old! Last week when I was getting Kyler dressed I noticed he had a ton of bumps all over his legs, a couple on his back and one on his neck. I had went for a walk the night before and forgot to put bug spray on him so I just figured they were mesquito bites. The next day my mom saw them and thought the samething..so we went on like everything was fine. Well yesterday morning when I saw them the bumps either looked scabbed or blistered...i got alittle worried and thought well I'll have my mom look at them now and see. Sure enough she said thats what Chicken Pox do...so I took him to the doctor today to make sure and he said the samething:( Thankfully I haven't been out and about this week, except to walk, so I don't think we would have spread it!! But I'm really curious as to where he got them from!! But we may never know that:/ I can't believe my baby has had the chicken pox though! I'm just sick about it...even though I've heard its better for them to go through it now than later on..ugh I feel like crying though lol. But at least now I know what they look like and what to expect for when we have other kids.
He hasn't been to much of a grouch with them though and hasn't scratched them either...i don't know if he really knows how too lol.

Side-note though: he has learned from me and my mom to point and go  no, no, no! Its so funny, he loves doing it to my brother Rhett when he sees him..and its just hilarious.
He is also now tall enough to reach on top of the counters and pull things off! I ran up stairs the other day to grab something and when I came down he had grabbed the bag of Goldfish's of the counter and poured them out all over the floor and was eating them, while dancing to the Wiggles:) I couldn't help but laugh.

But anyways thats our adventure this week so far...we haven't made it to the fair yet but when we do I'll post on that and the parade:)

Funny Pictures of Our Silly Boy

He loves to mop!! And gets the swifter out daily to do it!
He fell asleep on the floor on my blanket one night...it was just so cute! And he never falls, asleep anywhere besides his bed or carseat.
The middle four he decided he needed to be like daddy! And got into his shaving cream..he thought he was a big shot when we found him... I was alittle surprised it want worse!
The last is after a walk with mommy...I guess I wore him right out!

More Summer Fun

So to describe the pictures...
The first two are from waverunning up in Mantua! It was Kyler's first time going and he had a blast and wanted to go faster on the waverunners or drive them! Lol
The next is of him and Ava watching the fireworks for Wheat & Beet Days! Ava was so cute to watch...Kyler was just like whatever and then wanted to run around everywhere.

Kyler's First Haircut!

Kyler finally got his first haircut!! I didn't get a before picture...grandma started before I had time too. He did so good holding still as long as he had his water to drink! His hair looks so much better now...but still didn't stay I'm place lol

Big Boy Bed!!!

We finally decided to make Kyler's crib into a toddler bed a few weeks ago:) It would scare me to death waking up to him falling out of his crib because he was trying to climb over it. He had a rough time with it at first, but he's doing better!! Still doesn't nap much, but I don't know if he would either way lol. Don't judge me for not having sheets on his bed lol..they were in the wash.
