Day 3 California Adventure

For  this day we spent it in California Adventures. We got all but a couple of rides done and had lots of fun!!
We started our day out in CarsLand and Meeting Lightning Mcqueen
The boys loved all the rides there but weren't so interested in doing pictures!
After CarsLand we headed over to have Brunch. We stopped and had this pictures snapped first. I love this view and the sky was so gorgeous I just wish my boys would have looked and stood up on their own!
We went to Ariel's Grotto for Brunch! Its the easiest way to meet the Princesses and the Food is yummy too!
My little Prince!
Kyler thought is Waffle-Boat was pretty cool.
When we walked out from Brunch Donald was outside so we went and met him. Ky decided he didn't want to though.
He loved our Autograph book because the boys were dressed up as him.
It was then time to ride lots and lots of rides!

We came around one of the corners and Minnie was there so we stopped by to say hi to her. Xander was in complete heaven!!
We then went and saw a couple of the shows and rode a few more rides.
We then saw Sully and were the last one too! I was glad we got there just in time before then closed the line.
After saying good-bye to Sully we rode a few more rides and then called it a day. We only missed a few things that we would catch the other day we went there. I couldn't believe how much we got to do this trip compared to our last one!

Day 1 and 2 of Our Disneyland Trip

Our Disneyland trip was such a blast this time! I loved seeing the parks all done up for Halloween. This is what we did on Day 1 and 2 of our trip!
We stopped in Mesquite the first night and the boys had a blast jumping on the beds.
While we were out to dinner the Disney Fairies came and left the boys some prizes. I however forgot to get pictures of what they got each night.
The next day we drove to  Anaheim and got there just in time to go to Mickey's Halloween Party!

Kyler was kind of a stink about getting his picture taken the whole trip I can't believe we actually got this cute one!

My cute little Xander with all his favorite characters!
On the Tea-cups!

This was the all the Candy we got from Trick-or-Treating the first night! It was insane how much we got!

And that sums up Day 1 & 2!!

YaY I'm A Big Kid Now

Finally after 2 years of trying to get him to go Potty it finally clicked!!
I seriously am so excited. I had been hoping and praying he would be potty trained by the time he had to go back to school. I've been trying extra hard this summer to bribe him with anything he could possibly want, and nothing was working. Then we went to the temple open house and he loved it. I kept telling him he had to go Poo in the potty in order to go again. And with in a couple days he went, but ended up not being finished and went in his underwear. 3 days later and another pair of underwear ruined and I was done, I took his basketball hoop away and told him he didn't get to go to the Temple or Disneyland if he kept pooing his pants. (I know awesome mom) A couple days past and he hadn't went at all, so I knew it was coming. I kept reminding him every 20 minutes to go on the potty. I was upstairs making dinner and heard him downstairs telling JJ "I did it! I did it! I did it!" JJ wasn't sure what he had done and asked him what was going on and Ky said, "Dad I went Poo in the Potty! I did it!! Now I get to go to the Temple!" I rushed down the stairs and told him I was proud of him and asked if he needed to go some more and he said yes. He went and finished and I went back to making dinner. We then took JJ to work and got Ky a slush as a reward. When we got home he went again, and we haven't had an accident since then!! I'm so happy that my prayers were answered!! Its been along two years! And I love the fact he was most determined to do it because he got to go to the Temple! Every time he goes now he looks at me and says, "I'm proud of you." to make sure I tell him how proud of him I am.  I love this boy so much!! I am really so proud of him!

Now to start on Xander....ugh

Ogden Temple Open House

We went to the Ogden Temple Open House a couple weeks ago. It is absolutely breath taking! I loved everything about it. Its so beautiful and the artwork that they have in it was amazing.
Kyler as so excited to go. He has always been obsessed with temples and when he heard he got to go inside one he freaked! He was in absolute awe while we walked through it and then didn't want to leave the water fountain outside. We are already planning on going a couple more times just so he can enjoy it more while he can go through it.

God Be With You Till We Meet Again

My Brother Rhett left on his mission on July 30th. We took him to the airport that morning and he flew straight out to The Dominican Republic MTC. We already miss him so much. But we know he will be a great Missionary!!
The Sunday before he talked in church and I am just blown away with the testimony he has! I'm very lucky to have such amazing brothers and that they are such good examples to my boys!!
These were a few pictures he let me get of him before he left. Getting this boy to take pictures is like pulling teeth!!

The boys miss him so much already. It broke my heart when we left the night before and he had to tell them goodbye because I wasn't taking them with us to the airport. Kyler cried and cried on the way home, as did I. But it was a very good teaching moment to teach him about missions and missionaries.

This was him walking off to go get in line for security. We are already counting down the days till he is home!!
