Annual Winter-time Trip to Salt Lake

Today we went down to Salt Lake to go see the lights at Temple Square and Zoolights. We did however stop at a few other places too! Here are the pictures to explain the trip.

We stop at In-N-Out to eat on the way down...we were quite excited!!

Gardner Village
This I think will now be added as a stop when we go down.

Kyler had so much fun seeing all the elf's!

These ducks came running over to Kyler it was so cute!!

The cookie he got for doing the Elf Scavenger Hunt!

"This Is The Place" Monument.
We had never been here and it was neat to see. Kyler also tried eating snow too!

Zoolights!
Kyler of course loved it, Xander did too!

My handsome boys in the tunnel of lights! and also Xander's first time on the Carousel!

Seeing Santa! They had a much better Santa this year..Kyler wasn't a big fan but at least sat on his lap. Xander just smiled and cooed at Santa.

Enjoying the displays.

The Grizzly Bear Story! This bear didn't come out into view until Kyler walked over to the window. And then when the bear got to the window he started licking at where Kyler had his hands. It had JJ completely freaked out, but Kyler just sat there and laughed. The bear stayed there for a few minutes and then started to walk off which made Kyler sad!

Temple Square!
The grounds were just beautiful! I was sad my phone died so I couldn't snap more pictures of the grounds!

Sadly the best family pictures we could get. Kyler was tired at this point and just wanted to do his own thing and not take anymore pictures!

We also stop at the Disney store before heading home...Kyler wanted everything Mickey, Nemo,Tangled, or Tinkerbell/Peterpan. But only ended up with a Pascal sippy for a drink on the way home.

It was such a fun day and I think we all enjoyed everything we did. One of the my favorite things about the trip was just listening to the boys in the back seat grawling and laughing at each other! I can't wait for next years trip!!

Life With Our Boys The Past Few Weeks

Just some pictures of our boys the past little while.

I couldn't sleep one night and decided to make Kyler a hat. He usually won't wear them but he liked this one mostly because of the basketball!

He found a new hiding spot!!

We started reading our Christmas Story Countdown and he was super excited!

He decided he wanted to be like daddy and wear his shoes just on the wrong feet.

I finally broke out the Baby Bullet to make Xander some baby food.

Mmmm...beans! Not to sure what he thought of them.

We made a fort out of Ky's bed one day...he loved it!!

Xander is getting better at holding his own bottle!!

My silly little monsters...sure love their little faces.

The many faces of Kyler lately.

The Tinkerbell hat...I made this but didn't like how it turned out so it became a play object in our house. Kyler has developed, what we are calling a crush for daddy's sake, on Tinkerbell he is always wanting to watch Tinkerbell movies and wears the hat every so often. JJ wearing it was just to make me laugh one morning.

First Week With Our Elf

Here are the things we've found Noelle Sparkle the Elf doing this week.

Day Two:

Day Three:
Day Four:
Day Five:
Day Six:
Day Seven:

Day one was the breakfast....Kyler absolutely loves it! We had to get up early a couple days this week, which he doesn't do very well with, but if I mentioned going and finding Noelle Sparkle he would jump right up out of his bed. He for the most part has done well with not touching her either...he did try to feed her a marshmallow the one day. I've been so happy he has liked it so much! Now on to week two!

Christmas Bucketlist Completions part 1

These are the things we've completed from our Christmas Bucketlist so far..

We had gotten Kyler a little tree he got to decorate. He did such a good job decorating it! We also decorated the big tree as you can see in our past posts.

Our New Traditions this year were Elf On The Shelf, and a not so new one for me but for our little family is a book of Christmas stories that my grandma put together years ago. This book actually belonged to my Great-Grandma, but I was given to me this year to start reading the stories to my boys. There is a story for each day in December.

A few weeks ago my moms friend had put together the Jubilee of Trees here in town. They had Santa and Mrs. Claus there so we took the boys to see them. Kyler wouldn't really look at the camera but he liked Santa after he gave him a candy cane. Xander was so good and just sat there and was happy.

This year we got Xander's First Christmas ornament and a new family one!

My mom always got a new nativity each year this has been something I like to do know too. So this was the one we got this year.

Today we sat down and wrote letters to Santa to send with Noelle Sparkle tonight. Kyler actually did pretty good at telling me what he wanted. He drew a picture on the back of his letter for Santa to.

I don't have a picture of this one...but we went threw all our clothes and took all our old coats that were still in good condition and donated them to the Warm Hearts Coat Drive. We are using that as our giving to someone in need this year.

That's what we have completed so far...we have alot of the others planned out just waiting for December to get here!!
