Family Pictures 2012

I was so pleased with how these turned out! Especially since Kyler had been a monster during them. But anyways this post is horribly long so I won't talk much....

Thankful Thoughts

So I tried to do the whole post something your thankful for on facebook each day, but after a couple of busy days I failed to post. So I thought I'd just post on here each week a few things that I'm thankful for.

1. My Hubby! He is so good to me and takes such great care of me and our boys. I'm so very lucky to have him.
2.My two little boys! They make me so happy. There of course are times where it can be very frustrating, But its all very worth it! I'm just completely in love with them.
3.My Momma! There just isn't enough space to put everything I'm grateful for that she has done for me. She is the best person I know. I just hope to be the type of mom she has been.
4. Sunday afternoons! Its so nice to have a day where we can just sit and relax after church.
5. Children's Tylenol! Kyler was sick at the beginning of the week and without this we would have had a very long couple of days.
6. Technology! We got to upgrade our phones and it just amazes me how much we can do with something so small. It's also very nice to have email to be able to communicate with my brother in Mexico, so quickly.
7. Our House! I still can't believe we have a house...I'm so grateful to have it and to be feeling it up with so many great memories already! I love being able to watch Kyler play in the yard, and the ceiling fan that keeps Xander entertained. It's just so nice and I'm so grateful to have it!

Well I will end there for this week.

Plate Project & Christmas Fever with Bucketlist

I'm doing my best to remember there is one more holiday before Christmas...but its kinda hard when we already have so many fun things planned for December!

Today we did do a Thanksgiving themed plate project...again thank you to Pinterest for the idea!
I thought it turned out pretty good, considering neither boy would keep their hands open while trying to put the paint on.
I have been working on a wreath too but I don't know if its actually going to turn out.

Now on to the Christmas Stuff!!
Saturday I got to go shopping with my momma, it was alot of fun! We already have the boys shopping done...well pretty much. I was able to get a few things we still wanted to get like their jammies and a few stocking stuffers. I also got the lights to put on the house and I'm hoping to convince JJ to put them up this week before a storm hits or it gets to cold.
I think the thing I got that most excites me though is "The Elf  On The Shelf!" They only had a girl elf but I don't think the kids will really care. I'm so excited to start this tradition with my boys! Its so fun to see Kyler actually excited about Christmas and Santa!! I'm hoping this will even help more on making him want to be good.
This is our calendar for the things the elf is going to do!! There are so many fun ideas it was hard to decide on what ones to do, but the ones we don't do this year we will do in other years I'm sure.

*I don't know why its being weird and not loading right!

Last year there were a few of my friends that made a "Bucket List" of the things they wanted to do around Christmas time, so I thought it would be a good idea to do one this year.
We may add more if we have time. I just can't wait to do them all! I'm posting it now because there are a few things that we will be doing through out this month too just to prepare for all the events of next month.
 I'm So EXCITED!!
