Little Things

Since I'm in a grumpy mood today I though maybe I'd post about all the things that made me happy over the past weekend. A lot of those thing being things I usually don't think about and sometimes even complain about, or just grateful for, and some just might be rambling...sorry in advance!
The first being insurance! I can't express enough how thankful I am to be covered by the company we are. They have made the financial part of this pregnancy so much easier and less stressful. The hospital had me meet with a lady my second appointment that went over all the charges but it pretty much went right over my head and she was in a rush so I really didn't understand it all. So I have been nervous over what the cost is going to be at the end. That lady had told me we were going to need to pay for the ultrasounds I had and co-pays, well come to find out our insurance covered all of that! I then got a call on Friday to pre-register at the hospital. He answered all my questions about the cost of it all and went over what the insurance covers. I'm so so grateful to have gotten that call, I feel like I've had a little weight taken off my shoulders! He told me a c-section, and this is just for the procedure, at Logan Regional before insurance runs about $10,000.  And then to hear we'd only be paying a very small fraction of that makes me feel so blessed!!
Another thing I have been so thankful for lately has been naps, and that Kyler has also been taking them! The baby has decided to settle against my back and it has been very difficult to try and find a position to sleep in that doesn't put me in some sort of pain. This has led to me taking lot of naps during the day. Kyler has been so good and will go down for about 2 hours and its just what I need to not be a cranky monster all day.
Also with Kyler I have been thankful because he had been so happy and silly until today. He hardly had any meltdowns except when he would wake up from a nap. When we would go for rides he would blow kisses out the window to everything and say  in his little way that he does "see ya later." Or when one of his shows is over he will wave bye-bye to the characters. It just makes me smile when he does cute little things like that.
I'm also happy to only have 10 weeks at the most before our new little guy is here! I started packing my bag for the hospital today and just can't believe it. I can't wait to have him here and be able to snuggle him. I love feeling him kick even though it can be painful depending on where he kicks, but  its so fun to actually be able to see my belly move when he kicks or moves around. I've kinda complained about him having his days and nights mixed up but I've liked it lately because it gives me time just to sit and enjoy him with out all the hustle and bustle of the day.
I'm so excited for my brother Colton to get home in a couple of weeks. It will be so nice to get to actually see him and here all his stories. JJ is lucky enough at work to have seniority for when they have there slow time to be able to chose whether he wants to stay or not. This is their slow time and he will usually stay, my dad on the other hand isn't quite as lucky. Due to that they have been struggling with trying to get Derek ready to go with all the stuff he needs. We surprised them and him on his birthday Friday with the 2 pairs of shoes he wanted and needed, towels, bedding, a few pairs of slacks, some shirts and ties. It was so nice to see a smile come on his face when he opened the box! I just wish I would have had my camera to snap some pictures of it. I was grateful to JJ for wanting to get him all of it, and that we could help him get ready to go. I can't believe he is old enough to be going on a mission! He has always been the "angle child" in the family and we will all miss him so much, but know he is going to be an awesome missionary!
I'm looking so forward to this weekend and just wish it was here already! I can't wait to go and do all the fun things we have planned. It will be a great way to spend my birthday and mother's day....I'll post on that once it gets here!
