YaY I'm A Big Kid Now

Finally after 2 years of trying to get him to go Potty it finally clicked!!
I seriously am so excited. I had been hoping and praying he would be potty trained by the time he had to go back to school. I've been trying extra hard this summer to bribe him with anything he could possibly want, and nothing was working. Then we went to the temple open house and he loved it. I kept telling him he had to go Poo in the potty in order to go again. And with in a couple days he went, but ended up not being finished and went in his underwear. 3 days later and another pair of underwear ruined and I was done, I took his basketball hoop away and told him he didn't get to go to the Temple or Disneyland if he kept pooing his pants. (I know awesome mom) A couple days past and he hadn't went at all, so I knew it was coming. I kept reminding him every 20 minutes to go on the potty. I was upstairs making dinner and heard him downstairs telling JJ "I did it! I did it! I did it!" JJ wasn't sure what he had done and asked him what was going on and Ky said, "Dad I went Poo in the Potty! I did it!! Now I get to go to the Temple!" I rushed down the stairs and told him I was proud of him and asked if he needed to go some more and he said yes. He went and finished and I went back to making dinner. We then took JJ to work and got Ky a slush as a reward. When we got home he went again, and we haven't had an accident since then!! I'm so happy that my prayers were answered!! Its been along two years! And I love the fact he was most determined to do it because he got to go to the Temple! Every time he goes now he looks at me and says, "I'm proud of you." to make sure I tell him how proud of him I am.  I love this boy so much!! I am really so proud of him!

Now to start on Xander....ugh

Ogden Temple Open House

We went to the Ogden Temple Open House a couple weeks ago. It is absolutely breath taking! I loved everything about it. Its so beautiful and the artwork that they have in it was amazing.
Kyler as so excited to go. He has always been obsessed with temples and when he heard he got to go inside one he freaked! He was in absolute awe while we walked through it and then didn't want to leave the water fountain outside. We are already planning on going a couple more times just so he can enjoy it more while he can go through it.

God Be With You Till We Meet Again

My Brother Rhett left on his mission on July 30th. We took him to the airport that morning and he flew straight out to The Dominican Republic MTC. We already miss him so much. But we know he will be a great Missionary!!
The Sunday before he talked in church and I am just blown away with the testimony he has! I'm very lucky to have such amazing brothers and that they are such good examples to my boys!!
These were a few pictures he let me get of him before he left. Getting this boy to take pictures is like pulling teeth!!

The boys miss him so much already. It broke my heart when we left the night before and he had to tell them goodbye because I wasn't taking them with us to the airport. Kyler cried and cried on the way home, as did I. But it was a very good teaching moment to teach him about missions and missionaries.

This was him walking off to go get in line for security. We are already counting down the days till he is home!!

4 and 2 Year Old Pictures.

I've been slacking on getting pictures of the boys this year. Especially of Kyler. I got a new lens for my camera this week though and we decided to go up to Mantua and take pictures and let the boys play in the water. They had a blast and even let me get some cute pictures of them!
And as for their stats...

Kyler is:
45.5 Inches tall and weighs 45 pounds
Xander is:
34.75 inches and weighs 28 pounds

Xander's 2nd Birthday

Xander had an awesome birthday. I'll explain everything we did as the pictures go.
And honestly picture overload! And these were just my favorites:)

We started the day off with Presents. This little guy got spoiled! He was so excited when he saw everything and got even more excited with each new thing he opened. He was so funny to watch!

We then made Breakfast which was Mickey and Friends Waffles and of course he loved them!

We then headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's House. We opened presents, ate lunch, and had cupcakes!

When we got home it was Nap Time...he enjoyed it under his new bed tent!

When he woke up we got his cake out and sang to him...he started to dance when we were singing and then he blew ou the candles and we had cake. He growled at me the whole time I was taking pictures it was hysterical.

After that we got in our swim gear and headed to the Splash Pad to meet up with some friends. We had cupcakes and juice too. The kids had a ton of fun and ran all their energy out!
Then both boys went to bed when we got home!

I can't believe Xander is already 2! It just doesn't seem like its been that long, and yet I can't remember life with out him. He is a total sweetheart but he does have a temper too. We love him so much and are so happy he had such a fun filled day and for everyone who was apart of it!!
